Digital Inclusion in Education
Limited literacy and digital skills remain major barriers to digital adoption in Sub‑Saharan Africa. While connectivity—especially broadband access—is transformative, many elementary schools still lack the tools and resources needed for teachers and students to participate fully in the digital age.
Through the SAEF Social Impact Fund, we are investing in marginalized schools to expand access to essential digital tools, including internet connectivity, laptops, computers, and online literacy programs. This ground‑up approach ensures that education remains central to closing the digital divide and advance gender equality to equip young learners with the knowledge, critical thinking skills, and values needed to navigate an increasingly complex world.
We are committed to working with global partners to provide financial support, infrastructure, and connectivity solutions that empower schools. Through these efforts, teachers and students gain the digital skills and tools required to learn, grow, and thrive in a modern, technology‑driven society.
