Agri Tech and Climate Adaptation
Agriculture remains one of the most effective pathways for development and poverty reduction IN Sub Sharan Africa, yet millions of smallholder farmers—especially women—still lack the tools, technology, and market access needed to build sustainable livelihoods.
Through the SAEF Social Impact Fund, we are empowering smallholder farmers with digital access and tools, climate‑smart agricultural technologies, and direct links to markets. Our goal is to strengthen food security, build climate‑resilient communities, and increase rural incomes across Sub‑Saharan Africa.
To scale this impact, SAE Foundation and our partners, are establishing E‑HUBS —community‑based digital and agricultural service centers owned by rural entrepreneurs, cooperatives, or agribusiness partners. These hubs will provide internet access, and FINTECH solutions that enable mobile payments, real‑time transactions, market analytics, and trade opportunities under the AfCFTA. Through simple mobile apps and SMS tools, farmers can record transactions, access credit alerts, compare prices, and receive tailored agronomic advice—even in areas with limited broadband.
By expanding access to mobile technology, digital training, and climate‑smart tools, SAE Foundation connects farmers to suppliers, buyers, and financial services in a growing digital marketplace. This integrated approach strengthens rural economies, increases productivity, and empowers farmers to build sustainable, profitable futures.
